I used to know her a while ago
and I recently found her!
She was a sensitive and outgoing woman--
people admired her whit and strength.
She was funny and adventuresome:
secure, but easygoing.
Most of all, she was deeply missed.
I found her the other day - almost by accident.
I was so happy to discover her--
She warmed my heart:
my SOUL glowed inside of me.
I laughed really hard for the first time in months
I was happier than I'd ever imagined.
I hugged my sweet returned friend
and
I could see;
the world seemed clearer
as I breathed in LIFE!
I appreciate that woman's respect for life
Today, I shout LOVE for her because
that woman is ME.
